2019/2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
It goes without question that the Italian’s are masterminds when it comes to automotive charm. And the 2019/2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia is no exception to that claim.
We have to admit, that notorious Italian charm came stringing the chords on our hearts when we saw the Giulia Quadrifolgio in person. Hence, why it placed as runner-up in this Top 5 List.
Just like the Beetle, these rims checked all of the boxes that we were on the lookout for at the 2019 MIAS. They are unique and they complement the vehicle in an effortless fashion. Furthermore, the rims have an understated monochromatic color scheme, which doesn’t immediately scream “look at me”, but once your eyes cross paths with it, it is tough to look away.
Even though the rims don’t have the biggest initial “wow factor”, they have a BIG brand identity. Alfa Romeo has practically trademarked the 5-hole circular rim design, and that is what makes these rims oh-so-unique. Upon first glance, we found the rims to look almost reminiscent of the four-leaf clover badge found on the upper side fender.
In all honesty, no other manufacturer has rims like Alfa Romeo, which truly sets them apart from other premium brands, and this makes them instantly recognizable to even the least car-fond onlooker.
The rims that Alfa Romeo decided to affix to this Quadrifoglio model are optional $500 rims called “Dark 5-Hole Wheels”. Alfa also offers a bright silver version of this same rim design, if dark isn’t your cup of tea (or coffee).
This Giulia was also equipped with optional “Glossy Red Colored Brake Calipers”. As you may expect, the premium Italian brand charges you an extra nickel and dime for these colored brake calipers. You’ll have to splurge an extra $350 to get these calipers which come in your choice of either black, yellow, or red. All of those caliper colors come with “White ‘Alfa Romeo’ Script”, and we personally think they are totally worth that slight price jump!
